Hey guys.
I am 173cm which is about 9-10cm below the average height where I live. I can afford limb lengthening but the problem is that I already have long legs.
Mt legs are 88cm long (trochanter landmark to ankle)
Which when decided by my height gives the ratio of 0.508
and that is above the 0.491 average. As I calculated, if I get 8cm lengthening my leg/body ratio will be 0.527 which is the 98th percentile and it is not asthetically pleasing at all.
Is there anyone here with naturally long legs who got LL? What are your proportions now? Are you happy with them?

Without an xray, it's difficult to accurately measure your legs.

Your lower to upper body ratio does not matter(or very little).

The *international beauty standard* is having long legs. All super models have long legs, or wear things to accentuate their legs. It's not something worth worrying about. The ratio worth worrying about is your wingspan to height, which is ~1:1.

I know it is not accurate without an X-ray but it is completely visible that I have long legs.
About supper models, according to studies long legs are very attractive on women but when it comes to men, average leg/body ratio or a little bit longer is the best.
The higher the leg/body ratio, less attractive the man and I'm gonna end up in 98th percentile which is way beyond average.

I have seen those videos but the guy had short legs before LL
And BTW, what do you think the maximum amount of ape index can be until you look abnormal? Is ape index -4cm bad and unproportional?

In my opinion, anything less than 2 inches is going to be fine and unnoticeable. 4cm is less than 2 inches.

Here's what you have to ask yourself...

Is the benefit of being taller greater than the cons of having 'abnormal' proportions?

YES.

How many people are made fun of for being short heighted? How many people are made fun of for having short arms? See where I'm going with this?
