Basically, I will be doing the surgery soon. I have done consultations with Becker and Giotikas.
Right now Im more leaning towards dr Becker, mostly becouse of the Betzbone nail. Nut I still have doubts, mostly becouse of Dr Beckers backround on seemingly unrelated fields of plastic surgery.
Do you guys think that Becker is as adequate as a professional orthopedic surgeon (like Giotikas)?
And also doyou consider them to br 2 equally good options overall, or do you strongly prefer one to another?

His talking about warewolf. He keeps tracrapalking likeable surgeons on this forum, while masterbating to crappy butcher surgeons in turkey doing risky methods, while shelling out racist and discriminating comments, and denying facts and statistics. Dont believe me? Look here:

Sorry that I never answered your direct question, I guess the lowlife wolf who doesn't have a life took the attention. I don't know Becker and haven't heard of multiple succesful cases of him, like I have with dr. Giotikas, maybe search the forum, to see if you can find any. Dr G is cheaper and offers G-nail which is pretty much the same thing as Betzbone that allows you so weightbear. I have heard tho that some patients have easier time clicking with Betzbone, but maybe it's a individual thing.

Either way I think I'm personally sticking with precice even tho it ain't weightbearing, for these reasons:

1. it's fda approved and used all over the world, which isn't the case for the other nails mentioned.

2. They have the reverse future if a non union should happen (unlikely in the femur, but still).

3. According to dr. G the pain level with doing G-nail /betzbone is about 30% higher than with precice (the surgery is already painful with precice...)

4. Precice is cheaper and according to most surgeons like mahbouhian, Dr lee, etc better...

5. the lengthening mechanism is wireless and magnetic which makes it alot easier with precice than clicking with Gnail /betzbone which can be troublesome according to many diarys on this forum.

Yeah I agree. Can’t imagine having to do the clicking thing. Especially when some people say it can be harder on one leg, accidentally be too much on another leg etc. sounds almost barbaric.

Do you know how it works after lengthening with non-weight bearing, Viking? Do you just have to be patient with consolidation before walking again, and then after 2 years or so they remove the rods & nail?

Throughout the lengthening phase, you use a walker around where you live and use a wheelchair for longer distances. During the consolidation phase you gradually start to weight bear more, which usually leads to full weight bearing 4-6 months after lengthening. The rods usually come out a year or so after the lengthening.

And the lengthening mechanism with precice is like this (easy and smooth):

Becker looks better than him, even though he has fake diaries and tries to advertise. It would be more accurate to compare giotikas with Egyptian-Iranian doctors.
