Just curious to know example tibia and femurs have a safe limit obviously it changes based on what ever doctor you speak to but what is the safe limits for forearm and upper arm not sure if it’s called humerus if anyone knows please feel free to share.
Also I heard somewhere it’s easier and safer to lengthen to arms then it is with leg lengthening is that true.
Quote from: mrblack on July 31, 2018, 04:23:20 PMWhat I can tell you according to a doctor I've talked to is that upper arm is possible to lengthen with a nail. Not so difficult. Limit depends on your height, health and lengthening distance. But forget forearm. Possible with external but many badly calculable risks. Its not worth it
Are you saying forearms are a no-go area for lengthening.
Also with what you said about the height also increasing the amount you can safely lengthen on average what is it like for every inch you can go say 1 inch from any height over 5’7 as an example
So after reading this I’ve one more question is it odd if the upper arm is more longer then the forearm I mean my is smaller then my forearm but I don’t know if that’s the norm also do you know how arm lengthening effects the muscle you can build in arms
So on that what would you say is the limit to when people notice your arms are short compared to your height

Here is a clear example of what short arms look like. It doesn't look like his hands could reach past his groin.

Ah right XD yea they are extremely noticeable what is his actual height do you know and thanks for showing me this makes me feel a lot better about mine with LL being considered
Quote from: Valiant on August 01, 2018, 01:39:04 PMThat's MMA fighter, Artem Lobov. He has a height of 175cm. His stats state his reach is 165cm. I am not familiar with MMA terminology, but maybe reach is the same as wingspan ?, so his wingspan is 165cm ?
Here is a photo of Artem Lobov(far right of image), standing next to Coonor Mcgregor. McGregor and Lobov appear to be of the same height, with the same torso and leg length, but Lobov's arms are definitely shorter compared to McGregors.

I assume reach is wingspan which means he’s basically 10 cm (4 inches) under his actual height lol so effectively if his arms aren’t being taken into question then it’s vary unlikely mine would be, also on that you’d think he did LL with that reach it’s actually strange to see
Quote from: Valiant on August 01, 2018, 04:18:30 PMIf you don't mind me asking, what's your height and wingspan?
With your arms at your sides, how far down do they reach ?
Personally I also think it's better to taller with shorter arms than being shorter in height and having proportioned arms. Height is something that people pay attention to or focus on not arm length. So unless your arms are freakishly short like wingspan under 15cm of your height and your arms can't reach past your waist. I wouldn't worry about it. Plus, if you workout, do bench press, shorter arms can give you an advantage.
My wingspan is almost 9 whole cms longer than my height. If I could, I would gladly trade a few cm from my wingspan and add them to my height to be taller.
I’m around 5’7 (171cm) my wingspan is 173cm I’d like to get to at least 5’11 over two surgeries 5 cm in both femurs and tibia
So really I’d be ok to lengthen the 10 cm with my arms being ok I’m worried tho because shows add like 2-3 cm in height so I’d end up closer to 6’0 with like 173 cm arms would that still be ok
