He's planning on getting the surgery from 181->184.8cm.
Is there anything that he should know beforehand? He's a person from Netherland so he always wanted to become a bit taller. I would appreciate comments refraining from disdain because he's completely adamant about this.
He has enough money and time.

Yes he wants to be a fitting model. He's a ameteur model at the moment but the height limit is 183+ and 186~193 is the recommended height.

He wants to lengthen to 184.8cm because he doesn't want to get anything that will affect his performance in life. He doesn't do any sports and is relatively sedentary. Modeling is his second job and Software engineer is his current main job because he can't get any decent modeling jobs that pay because face modeling pays very little.

I'm really worried if he can lose his running ability completely. He says that up to 4.5cm seems very safe(there are others in his modeling agency that did LL surgery in Europe). He has really good flexibility(he can do leg split in a completely straight line and use his palms touch the ground) and decent body because of modeling(170lbs/12.5% BF).

He is not sure. I think he might do Precice from Dr.Donghoon or STRYDE.
He plans on choosing the safest route even if it isn't cost-effective.

I'm not worried about the money because he has saved up atleast 500k from his work with a Fortune 500 company. Only worried about his health. Me and my sister has been researching and met people who did the surgery and it mostly turned alright for those below 6cm.

I just want to know just in case from other patients. Sorry if this is very rude

What about Mr.Paley? I heard that he is the very best in this field and has had no complications(I am not sure). He was thinking of either Mr.Donghoon because Mr.Paley had said that he was a great doctor and student. But he might just do STRYDE with Mr.Paley because he seems to be the safest and smartest choice.

I don't know much about this surgery as you guys but unless the doctor is doing something new, every single doctor in korea does NOT let you wear shoes while taking a x-ray(idk what 3d is but just normal) and it is very illegal for a doctor to do some of the things you said within the Republic of Korea. He is leaning towards Mr.Paley but he is still thinking about it.

I think US is safer because laws are more risky for doctor to mess up. However korea media has a very profound effect. There is one patient who die from cheap surgery in korea and he doctor is in jail for 45 years.

Quote from: TemakiSushi on February 10, 2019, 12:11:51 PMIf he’s from Netherland, why he even think about coming to Korea?
Florida is much closer to him
Besides why he himself doesn’t study about the surgery and post on this forum?

Because he doesn't know much english. He speaks fluent Dutch and decent korean/hanja because he did foreign exchange program for 2 years in Yonsei University.
And he has many friends willing to support him in korea but in Florida he doesn't know language and visa issues etc.

He has studied but not very good at english so I was willing to help him.
