He's planning on getting the surgery from 181->184.8cm.
Is there anything that he should know beforehand? He's a person from Netherland so he always wanted to become a bit taller. I would appreciate comments refraining from disdain because he's completely adamant about this.
He has enough money and time.
well it is a relatively safe goal of course.
But before surgery, you should know you would never be 100% even just lengthen3-4cm.
So you know the gain is always with sacrifice and if you a love sport, forget Cll and 181 is not bad even though people have different pursue
Besides, you should learn all the risk that the surgery may cause. And measure whether it worth the risk.
That's what I want to say with your friend.
Yes he wants to be a fitting model. He's a ameteur model at the moment but the height limit is 183+ and 186~193 is the recommended height.
He wants to lengthen to 184.8cm because he doesn't want to get anything that will affect his performance in life. He doesn't do any sports and is relatively sedentary. Modeling is his second job and Software engineer is his current main job because he can't get any decent modeling jobs that pay because face modeling pays very little.
I'm really worried if he can lose his running ability completely. He says that up to 4.5cm seems very safe(there are others in his modeling agency that did LL surgery in Europe). He has really good flexibility(he can do leg split in a completely straight line and use his palms touch the ground) and decent body because of modeling(170lbs/12.5% BF).
Will he do external tibia?
I think totally unnecessary, but I believe he will be ok.
He is not sure. I think he might do Precice from Dr.Donghoon or STRYDE.
He plans on choosing the safest route even if it isn't cost-effective.
I'm not worried about the money because he has saved up atleast 500k from his work with a Fortune 500 company. Only worried about his health. Me and my sister has been researching and met people who did the surgery and it mostly turned alright for those below 6cm.
I just want to know just in case from other patients. Sorry if this is very rude

Definitely better to get Stryde
I and friends are planning to get Stryde with Donghoon possibly end of this year
I went to his clinic, brad new excellent facility
All on going patients and veterans I’ve known so far are very happy with his treatment
Precice just takes much longer before being able to wAlk normal
My friend has many pictures and had done the body check with Dr. Lee.
What shocked me most is that they did not tell the 18years little girl their room was occupied.
And just said the surgery could be done.
And Elevy came to South Korea. But they still did not tell the detailed price after consult.
They showed Elevy the price only before one day the surgery. The accommodation price with diet was over the surgery fee. They just said it is vip room.
Well but what strange is that from the PT room pictures took by Elevy, just several people there.
And when Elevy want to talk to Veltman patient they just said the patient did not see visitor.
At that time Elevy had change Her money to Korean Currency before final price was told.
So she have no idea at that time. But she lost the trust toward Dr. Lee.
When she decided to leave and just took her X-ray data. They charged her 1500 US dollar for the Document fee. Besides, the body check before surgery cost her 3000+dolar.
Dr. Lee and his group should tell the room' condition and the estimate price before she flying to S K.
It just shows they want 100000dollor for Precice2 nail surgery fee and accommodation from a little girl who was rejected to go to Europe for visa and had no choice but South Korea.

If you think the price is not a problem why South Korean not America.
If you think the safety is the most inportant thing the way Doctor treat patients matters.
What about Mr.Paley? I heard that he is the very best in this field and has had no complications(I am not sure). He was thinking of either Mr.Donghoon because Mr.Paley had said that he was a great doctor and student. But he might just do STRYDE with Mr.Paley because he seems to be the safest and smartest choice.

Safest. How can a student be safest by just taking part in 1 year lesson like many other Doctor (showed in Dr. Paley' CV).
9years experience in South Korea(only 50milion population) compared with 31 years experience in America( 320milion population with more developed medical system)
Dr Paley also thinks Dr. Parlihar was a great Doctor and student(showed CV). While Doctor parlihar has 2 detailed dairy showing care of patients. You could compare with Dr. Lee' dairy?
Do you read my last post in your topic?

I and other patients did 3D X-rays and blood check, footage test, consultation all that only costed 300 dollars at new hospital last year.
Where did the 18 year old girl get the tests done and when?
Why didn’t she ask the price of surgery if she didn’t know?
They sure did show us the price list when giving us tour of new hospital
Also the price list was on the website last year.
In the PT room, patients take turns to do PT
Not all patients get PT at once
I wonder why they didn’t take her to other floors where patients are
We all had prenty of time to tour around the hospital and talk to patients
That hospital is really packed now
Has to wait at least 3 months to get a bed especially in a group room
