My friend  did body check in the new clinic in January this year( very far form city center to prevent you rent a apartment). Well they did the X-ray 3times (with shoes, without shoes) and changed her near 3000dolar. The data is the same. No difference.
When she decided do not do the surgery and just take the X-ray and blood data, they want to charge 3000dolar if you take the data out.

They could do anything they want to do in new private clinic.

She knew the price of different room price. But
They just say maybe we could arrange 2-4people room for you but Maybe 3-5days, need to change another room. And repeat.

No telling you need 3 months to wait for a group room.
They do not show the total price and only vip room is available until one day before surgery day. They change their words to Changing room is difficult to culculate price.
I have The chatting data.

My friend paid 6000 dollar for everything one week in South Korea.

She paid 3000 dollars at first then why she end up paying 6000?

It’s receptionists or translator/counselors task to explain about price or system of surgeries
No reason to blame on Donghoon himself for that

I don't know much about this surgery as you guys but unless the doctor is doing something new, every single doctor in korea does NOT let you wear shoes while taking a x-ray(idk what 3d is but just normal) and it is very illegal for a doctor to do some of the things you said within the Republic of Korea. He is leaning towards Mr.Paley but he is still thinking about it.

I think US is safer because laws are more risky for doctor to mess up. However korea media has a very profound effect. There is one patient who die from cheap surgery in korea and he doctor is in jail for 45 years.

She had signed a document saying if the nailed broken in the surgery there is a new Precice nail for replacement. Other thing written in document is unknown for me but at that moment, not telling anything about the room price and room' condition.

No reason to blame?

It is a little girl under 20s coming to their clinic. How could they saying "we could manage the group room for you although you should change several times" before she came and said "changing room is diizfficult to culculate the price and you should paid for the Vip room." one day before surgery. Doctor don't tell anything about price and room condition even talked to patient Face To Face, which implied he knew something.

It is pure cheat. How could the director be free from employee cheating?

After half a hour I posted this, she had received several call from Myanmar. She is afraid because she showed them the Household Register which has her family address and phone number in the other form.

Technically,
My friend is not only CLL candidate but LL candidate for one femur. She went to many hospitals and email her X-ray to different Doctors all over the world.
 Dr. Lee did not point out one thing in tibia cause by unbalanced femur while other Doctors had pointed out. Even He saw her IN PERSON FACE TO FACE.
And want to charge the 2 legs price while other Doctor just charge 1 leg price.

Things sound so strange
There’s a patient who did only one leg deformity correction in the end of last year
He was only charged 15k dollar for that
I also received EOS X-ray data free of charge lol

I know at least a several people who went counseling there last year
None of us could make a reservation of surgery before counseling
They didn’t let us make decision before meeting Donghoon
All had to wait 2 or 3months before surgery if wanted cheaper rooms

I’ve been to many different clinics in Korea
None of the doctors there talk about price and system to patients
It’s done by receptionist or counselors after meeting doctor
That’s how businesses are done in korean clinic
In a big organization it’s same in Japan
They cannot be that desperate to rip off a girl

Is she from China?
It’s actually lucky for us if she could spread bad reputations to the point where Chinese community may stay away since that hospital is getting just too popular and hard to make reservation of even private rooms lol

The unreasonable check is without receipt, only cash. They just saying cash is cheaper than Bank so the payment is without legal protection. She didn't know receipt is necessary.

They changed their words and did not tell the truth. They did not say she should wait 3 months because they know even 100000 dollar she still could pay. Selling Vip room to a easy cheated girl.
After she did not trust them they changed to save her by showing a "final price" for one leg.

Because he doesn't know much english. He speaks fluent Dutch and decent korean/hanja because he did foreign exchange program for 2 years in Yonsei University.
And he has many friends willing to support him in korea but in Florida he doesn't know language and visa issues etc.

He has studied but not very good at english so I was willing to help him.

They do accept credit cards
I and others used cards, and it’s written on his blog that they accept cards for check ups and bank transfers for the surgery package

It just seems someone is talking something irrelevant or misunderstanding in the translation

Hmmm Dutch is very close language to English
I’ve lived in Amsterdam before and people spoke decent English there

But anyways if he lived in Korea before and has friends there, I think Donghoon is really good choice for him
He should ask his korean friends about the doctor
Donghoon works for Yonsei University also
If he hear anything bad about him he can go to Florida

I’ve asked about him to korean locals who don’t have any business with Donghoon, their response was really good and they respected him
