Most of my male friends are around 169cm to 173cm, some of them are like around 178 to 182 cm. However I saw that a lot of people who want to do LL are around 168 to 171. I don't think that's short but I would like to hear from your opinion on what heights do you consider noticeably short, and what height should consider LL as a way to get a little taller?
Quote from: HobbitMan on August 08, 2021, 08:13:51 AMIt’s down to individual concern. I was 175 which isn’t actually short but I still had height neurosis. There are people who are 172 or 170 and have never even considered themselves short. There’s no cutoff because it’s down to each person deciding if their height is sufficient or not. There are people as tall as 183 who feel insecure about their height and people as short as 165 who are at peace with it.
I see what you mean by height neurosis. But 175 is the average or slightly taller in American men.
Quote from: Atlas on August 10, 2021, 04:14:48 AMDepends on girls you are trying to get in to
If you just want to get respect by society (walking out buying stuff at Walmart) or get in with average school social then 170cm would be fine. Anything lower is short.
This is entirely different if you want to live in high grade social circle (popular tiktoker popular Instagram school celebrity etc.) you probably need 5'10+. Anything lower then this is short
If you want to attract girls who are 5-6 in term of PSL rating, you must not be below 5,8 barefoot and use insole to be 5,10
Anything lower then this is short (you have to be high tier normies face atleast otherwise if need more)
If you want to attract girls who who are 7-10 in term of PSI. Something below 6'0 is considered short.
.
What if a person is 5'8 barefooted in the morning and goes back to 5'7 later the day? Does that count as solid 5'8?
Quote from: Medium Drink Of Water on August 15, 2021, 01:05:00 AMI'd say 173 cm in America.
Men who are shorter than 173 cm in America would be felt like noticeably short?
Quote from: Matt Murdock on August 15, 2021, 06:47:47 AMI think he means it begins at 173 cm itself.
Well, 173cm is a decent height in many parts of the world. Men who are around 173cm sometimes considered tall. There are many handsome stars with the listed heights
Quote from: Sambollio on August 15, 2021, 07:53:30 PMI think 173-178 is average,170 is below average, 167.5 is short, and below that is very short. I think at 167.5 is when it’s noticeably short to everyone. (Height in the U.S.)
Do you think, in yhe US, region matters when it comes to the height? Like in a country, sometimes people in colder areas are much taller than people from warm or tropical weather like areas.
Quote from: PerfectBody on August 17, 2021, 02:45:35 PMAtlas is an incel. Anything he says comes from a perspective of a depressed 5’3 boy. All he wants to do is drag as many people down possible with him.
Remember this is an open forum. Anybody can say anything they want. Please keep your head up, there’s a better future for us all.
For the record, I was 5’7 and getting plenty of action. Half of it is your attitude and composure. The other half is luck. Now at almost 5’10, that need for luck has been eliminated. It feels like at 5’9 you can be plenty successful. Make of this what you will.
In some countries in the Asia, 5'7 is a perfect height when it comes to choosing a movie actor, lead actor or leader of the sports. Bruce Lee was about 5'7, not very tall compared to the majority of the Hollywood stars at the time, but he was so popular because he worked so hard! Having a confidence in oneself is important to a happy life.
Quote from: PerfectBody on August 18, 2021, 03:39:21 AMDefinitely! But you better start working out lol.
I have a hunch East Asian countries are catching up. I spent a month in Japan and most guys I’ve seen are 5’6-5’11. There’s some crazy dude posting here the last few months saying Chinese kids these days are 6’3 - yeah no none of that stuff is real. But in general the height distributions are globalizing, per se.
Chinese and Korean are on the tallest side among Asians. Japanese also catching up. The average height for Japanese males, I recall, were around 5'6 to 5'7 last century. But we are seeing lots of Japanese young adults approaching 5'10 or 6 foot nowadays. Good nutrition is the reason. I remember seeing a YouTube video about a Japanese man going abroad for the LL, his surgery was successful and he walked again!!!
Quote from: Body Builder on August 23, 2021, 03:27:07 PMTo be again ontopic, because that topic is full of incels and madmen who believe that you should be at least 6ft to have a good looking woman, noticeably short in the west is beyond 1,67-8 and short is beyond 1,70.
Hi, in the west you mean the whole Europe and Northern America? And speaking of beyond 170cm, does that include a person whose height is right at 170cm, or anything 169.99 and below?
Quote from: Submarine on August 23, 2021, 07:01:44 PMsadder most toxic women or even men in my country would categorize anything under 185cm 'short'(Balkan peninsulan criterion)
I think it depends on the age groups?
