Hi all, I just joined the forum I'm super pumped to be here. I'm 30 y/o male from USA. About a year ago I discovered limb lengthening surgery by coming across Cyborg4Life's YouTube channel and decided that I will do this surgery on both my tibias and femurs. I am planning to do 5cm cm for femurs and 5cm for tibias for a total of 10cm height gain. My plan is to fly to Turkey to do femurs first then after 1-3 years fly in again and do tibias.

I'm doing some research on the clinics and the doctors and so far I have chosen to following places as potential clinics:

* WANNA BE TALLER with Dr. Unus
* LIVE LIFE TALLER with Dr. Buldu
* AFA LIMB LENGTHENING with Dr. Mustafa

For members who have dealt with any of those clinics what have your experience been like? Which ones would you recommend?

My goal is to use the knowledge and experience  of members on this forum to aid in my journey and I hope to eventually give back to newcomers after I go through this process myself.

The three clinics you mentioned have all had terrible stories happen. American doctors are generally considered the safest in the world.

Safe clinics barely exists outside of Europe and The US. The bang for your buck in Europe is Dr Giotikas in Greece, since he is one of the most experienced and offers maybe the cheapest price in Europe.

3 of these are LiveLifeTaller and 1 is WannaBeTaller, how do you rule out AFA just out of association of being in the same country?

Tell me the terrible story about AFA then? I'd love to know

2 of them..justifiable. What do you have against AFA? Nothing, other than it's in Turkey.

Just the fact that they do LON femur in turkey should be a red flag. A one way ticket to a high chance of infection. Not that there aren't good outcomes from it, but we're playing statistics with your legs and potential walking life for years to come.

I'm currently at 6cm with WBT and for the most part it's been a decent experience. Feel free to message also someone else I'm doing this journey with at the clinic including myself has posted some stuff about our experiences. There's a lot hate towards turkey but honestly I wouldn't let it stop you I'm from Australia and I have private health because I'm picky and I feel very safe around the doctor I'm with and trust him breaking my legs. I would take some of these hater comments with a grain of salt to be honest.

Dude just because you had a good experience, exceptions doesnt make the rule. When it comes to limb lengthening, it's your legs you're risking, your ability to walk for potentially the rest of your life. I'm sure 80% of the cases turns out good, but this isn't a $100 dollar hand in poker where it doesnt matter if you lose some money. The fact is complication rates at Turkey is probably at least 100x of that in countries like USA. If you're willing to take a 20% chance of not walking for 3 years, then sure.

And also they hide the bad patients in different hotel and rehab centers. So you might not even know about it. Don't be brainwashed living i the Matrix.

Normally in a conversation if you bring up something like the rate of complications is 100x and they hide people away that get complications  then normally that would require a lot of evidence and proof. Normally people who post this kind of slander for other people generally speaking are the people that is living in the matrix as you would say. Please provide statistics and and many personal accounts that back up your claim.
