Budget is about 20k USD(can increase to 25). What reputable surgeons would you guys recommend that'd get me 5cm tibias?
Doesn't have to be the latest technology but also nothing too old.
Best surgeons for 5cm tibias on a budget?
I'm 170 and want to get to 175. Not really interested in more height as I prioritize my health.
I'm 19 working part time. My growth plates are still open but I'm getting the surgery when they close.
Growth plates rare

Sorry but you can only get the oldest technology for that price. I'd advise you not to clean the crusty stuff off of your pinsites like doctors tell patients to. The ones who didn't clean it had fewer infections out of a sample size of about 30.

If you do not clean the pinsites is it not bad for the skin around the pins itself to heal making it harder down the line for the surgeon upon removal?

It's just a scab, so no big deal.

Does it reduce the pinsite pain somehow? I might be wrong about this but it almost feels like I have more pinsite pain the more I clean the scabs

Yeah. If you fell and scraped your elbow would you keep peeling off the scab or leave the scab? Which would hurt more?
I understand why they think it's good to remove them. The scab isn't fully covering the wound as long as the pin is in there, and it can get torn somewhat when you move, so they figure you should just remove it and sterilize the area regularly. But the scabs still help somewhat, and you can still put alcohol on the scab so the alcohol will go into any small openings that may appear.
This is just something we discovered on our own by having 30 foreign patients sharing advice with each other at the hospital.
