I not particularly interested in sprinting, long jumps or squatting, but these are very easy benchmarks everybody can do without training. If you like trekking, for example, it makes no sense asking someone to record himself walking 20km with 10kg backpack up the hill and down the hill. If you like muay thai, makes no sense asking someone to record himself doing it without training.

Recording yourself running some distance or lifting some weight or jumping is very easy.
