Hi, I am going through it right now. Currently I am at 6.3cm. You can watch my TikTok’s if you want to see some of the journey.

TikTok: @RoadTo170

All in all I would say it is - for the thing you do - a good experience. Being able to walk and bear weight on your legs is such a big relieve. I don’t have much pain while clicking. I also have a video on how it’s done on my page. With Betzbone you also have good bone growth because it is weight bearing. The team is also great, very supportive and always available for any questions or problems. So I would totally recommend it.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me on tiktok.

Yeah you will be totally fine. Everyone from the Dr Becker Team speaks english and Most of the staff from rehab. So there shouldnt be any Language Barrier. They will give you all the medicine you need for 6 months. Food is included in the Price so you don’t have to worry about where to get it. You can order from outside but you will get warm meals everyday which you can Choose from the menu. If you cant read it the rehab staff can explain it to you. Also they can pick you up from the Airport and bring you there.

When i was in rehab i saw 5 other people going through it. Just one of them could speak german and the other ones lived outside from europe. I am totally sure you wont have any Problems there with language food medicine or anything. And if you have they will solve it. But i mean its a big step, and it is intimidating to fly to another Place and get very vulnerable. But thats just something you have to decide or someone Else maybe can comment on that.

How long did you stay at the clinic or in hospital?  and after did you stay close to the clinic for the stretching and rehab as most limb lengthening centres want you to stay close for 3 months till the end of distraction phase.

I stayed 4 days in hospital and 10 days in rehab. Then I went home. If you want you can stay there. You will get free massages, pt and so on. But you have to pay for accommodation. I preferred to go home because I didn’t need it and I didn’t want to loose my every day life.

Like this I went to shows, cinema, shopping and everything. I even can drive a car. Which is mentally really relieving. So you can stay here for 2 weeks in Germany or as long as you wish and return to your country back. And after a few years you come back to remove the nail. And that’s it. You don’t need to stay away from family and friends, and even go to work if you are working on a desk. I mean how much better can it get. I mean it’s still a hard process with pain and uncomfiness. But how much better can it get to stretch your legs by a good amount of centimeters

Thank you so much for responding and providing this information. Its very useful for me to help me make up my mind.

How did you find the clicking? Was it painful and easy to do?

In general, what was the pain like after the operation and during lengthening?
