If you were doing internal femur leg lengthening and also doing a hair transplant, how long should you wait until after the surgery date to start the hair transplant? Ex: should you avoid the first few weeks because you'll be in alot of pain/don't want too much overall burden? How long should you wait?

My friend did it after lon femur 4 weeks later. The hair transplant. He did say it was painful, but nowhere near the LL surgery

Don't taller people also have proportionately thicker (wider) bones to support the length?

Not to mention the fact that their muscles are naturally as long (therefore no added tension/pulling on the bone from stretching a shorter muscle).

The muscles are supposed to grow through LL. After a year wouldn't the muscles be as loose as before?

In any case I am hoping that after so many years of LL they would have documented that it causes an increase in chance of fracture if it were the case.

not necessarily.

Fracture through a well healed regenerate is very rare. If people are worried about fracture after implant removal, one can always wait longer before removal.

out of hundreds of lengthening I have never had in my practice. fracture through a regenerate after internal device removal. I have seen it reported (in this forum!) , or with premature weight bearing. but it is such a rare occurrence that it should not be a main source of concern
