This idea that it's okay as long as people don't verbally mention that your proportions are off is coping to be frank. Normal adjusted people are much too polite to even think about comminting on anothers body -unless it's a compliment. When was the last time you heard someone being called ugly, it's pretty rare isn't it, but does that mean people don't notice others looks?

They do notice, even if it they can't put their finger on just what is bothering them, they will be able to tell that you look "off". The human brain is very adept at spotting small proportional differences, I'd bet you can't say what exactly makes one womans face look good and another one look bad. It's the same with bodily proportions.

Of course most people can lengthen some and still look good but it varies how much. I'm unfortunate since I can only do about 3-4 cm before my arms and shoulders start to look small, such is the plight of having a short wingspan.

-EDIT

And I want to add that if you already are at a decent height (say 183+) it makes no sense to do LL for cosmetic reasons -it's just counterproductive, you'll be less attractive overall when all is said and done. Never mind all the other horrid stuff that comes with surgically altering ones body beyond it's natural state.

Assuming you weren't nked, it should be almost impossible to notice off proportions after only 6 cm. Just look at apotheosis with clothing(20cm). I think you're just being paranoid, or you might have told someone who told her. Either way, it shouldn't be seen as a bad thing that you did this surgery, it's a good thing. You had to balls to go out and fix something that bothered you. That's all that counts. So stop being paranoid and enjoy your height  Called Out on LL

True. If you have ever heard people be described as lanky or stumpy then people are noticing proportions. This idea that non-LL patients are so oblivious that they can't notice someone having a femur than is 20% longer than a comparable person is ridiculous. Like you stated the difference between a girl features being beautiful and ugly are so minor, they can be measured in millimeters. Fortunately as you have stated while people will notice something "off" (particularly if it's taken to extremes) due to social expectations they won't say anything like what happened to OP.

Tbh people wouldn't notice at all especially if you are like 18-20. You could always say "Did I grow taller? Wow late growth spurt much.." And it would be fine since you would act like you didn't realise either.

Didn't you ask what she was referring to? I'd have told her to fk off if she was calling me in LL

The paranoia in this thread is real. Do you really think someone can notice 2 inches under clothes? No, they can't. If you wanted perfect proportions don't do this surgery.
