i see some of you blaiming the bad education and the diet you had because your father is taller, as if you potential had not been achieved.
According to my experience and observation, it's not rare to be shorter than of his parent or at best as tall as him.
Two examples pops into my mind: bill gates (178 cm) whose father seems to be 195 cm, and scott eastwood (180 cm) whose father (clint eastwood) was 193 cm at his peak, but now he is only 183 cm.

I have a few friends who are also taller than their father
-friend 1:172cm fater:187 cm
-friend 2:165 cm father:170cm
friend3: 176 cm father:188 cm
and my other are just one or two centimeters taller than ttheir father
Of course, we all know this dude who is 195 cm and have very shorts parents, but most children don't end at a similar height than their father.
