This is kinda crazy. The kids got HGH as well. Their dad has a fixation on height. Idk what to think. Korea is heightist and lookist, but this is whole another level. I guess not much diff when they giving nose jobs and double eyelid surgeries to middle and high schoolers as graduation gifts. Yeah not much diff tbh. Idk. The dad saying "ur gonna do this" irks me in a wrong way tho. Like forced. Creating height dysphoria instead of letting the kid discover it themselves.idk maybe not. Why am I still talking and ranting. Idk beauty standards in society is crazy. Idk what to say. Sorry for talking

Yeah, not much diff. Except that one is extremely invasive, risky, life-treathening, tons of complications and permanent side-effects while the others have almost negligible risks.

This is stupidity. No reason to force children to do LL or any other cosmetic surgery.

S.Koreans have a very twisted mentality about plastic surgeries.

Tbh it's still not much diff. In terms of the action and intention, change sum thing bout you. Of course it diff in recovery. Ofc it still retarded. But the dad encouraging/forcing CLL on their kid is not much diff than the vibe society essentially forcing korean woman by default to get double eyelids. It sad either way. Not that im justifying call, of course not. Only nutjobs like us want to do it

I was wondering about that too. I wasn't sure if the sons were actually unhappy with their heights or if the dad kind of forced them too. The older brother said he was scared. And on top of that they did LON and not Precice or Stryde.

Here's another smaller example: braces for teeth. Kids don't always have a say in that. I've never had braces, my parents always just assumed I had really good teeth. I've never even had a consultation, but I might get one after I already have the money for LL and possibly do Invisalign or something of the sort if I need to.

But what about the kids that don't have health problems and are okay with the way their teeth look but their parents make them do it because their teeth look bad? I'm sure that has happened to a lot of kids. And lots of kids are scared of it. The parents want it done because they have a fixation on how their kids must look.

Nose jobs and double eyelid surgeries are (almost) nothing compared to limb lenghtening surgery.

Yeah, but in terms of consequences and cost, that makes all the difference. We have to look at the big picture.

My god. My point was a parent normalizing giving a cosmetic surgery for their kid. That's all. Not that they are even remotely the same recovery.

Fück this shït.

South Korean society has a lot to learn and lots of toxic sh*t to shed. I hope one day they will.
