I had parrots when I was a kid. Told that parrots talk if trained properly. I did try to talk to my parrots, but they never speak.

Are you a poller or something LOL.Why are you conducting polls these days.
I have ten pets but they are raised by my mom not me although I think they are very annoying when they are barking.

No. Just wanna share anything besides limb lenghening with everyone on this forum. Give them the food or something they can play with, they will stop barking.

Hedgehogs !
They're like my all time favourite.
I also kinda like skunks and racoons, though they're not traditionnal pets at least not in Europe.

I can absolutely see how parrots can be pleasant, I've heard they can be really affectionate

I am afraid to approach big sized parrots though, they might bite stranger.
