That topic goes more to really short men and not to the slightly below average/average guys on here
We all know, unfortunately, men who are noticeably short are discriminated against in society. If it weren't like this, if this forum wouldn't exist. Women are not really affected by this, otherwise there would not be more women on here.
Limb lengthening can make you taller, but your genes will stay the same.
As a parent you (hopefully) want your child to lead a normal life and not feel bad about something he can hardly change. So what do you think about this topic, with the desire to have children and the thought of maybe having a short son?
What are the options out there? I've been thinking about it a bit:
- Don't get children with a below average height women? But what you do if you fall in love with one? It's also not a certainty, your genes can still dominate.
- Adopt children? It's not that easy btw
- IVF (artificial insemination) with gender selection to get daughters only
- Take the risk and hope that your son grows halfway normally. Perfect nutrition, sports like swimming classes as early as possible. But what if he's unlucky in the genetic lottery and his final height is estimated at 5'4" or something like that? HGH treatments are very, very expensive when you buy the hormones from the pharmacy, 1000€$ per month and this over years. The affordable option would be to buy HGH from China and look for reasonably good quality.
What do you think about it?
Greetings and have a nice weekend everyone
