Long story short, I am 28 and it has taken me 10 years to get to a point of doing LL. These 10 years were extremely unproductive and has made me lose most friends, have had no relationships and in the last 3-4 years after covid-19 I have mostly stayed at home. This is the lowest point in my life. I have no will to do anything other than LL. I hope that once I cure this dysphoria, I will be able to get back to a normal life.

What should I do? Should I just embark on LL?

How tall are you and how will you be paying for limb lengthening?

I asked as you want to have a consistent income and not be one of those people who pay for surgery but are broke afterwards. You need to get the depression under control before LL as if you encounter complications it could make your mental health even worse.

It helped my depression a lot.

Don't stop taking your medications.  A girl in China did that and had a really rought time; got into fights with authority figures at the clinic.  They made her stop lengthening and leave short of her goal. Doing LL with severe depression

I am not on any medication. Should I see a doctor for medications, if I have the option of just doing LL instead?

Did you eventually wean off your medications if you were on them?

I can't even begin to tell you what you should do; it's going to depend on your specifics.  But LL and mental illness are not strictly contraindicated.  It's possible that a doctor will be willing to do it.
