It could be but the foreign 2019 price ( doesn't include the 10%) is basically the same as the current Korean price which he updated back in late Dec 2021 ( there was a 8k~ price change ). I am not sure if Dr. Lee just increased the Korean price to match the foreign price or if he just increased both of them at the same time , but I could say that the prices for the Japanese patients are the same as Korean patientsl. This could still be different for English speaking patients located primarily in the west though.

You're correct. It's a short process but you have to get a tax free receipt at the hospital. Then on the day of your departure, you'll go to a kiosk at the airport to get a voucher which you can exchange for cash before you leave Korea. You can read more about it here.

Hi, I tried to contact Dr. Donghoon Lee and haven't got any respond. I also heard that he is booked till 2025? Is this true? Are there any other ways to contact him other than email and whatsapp?

You may simply call the contact number on his website via Skype. I believe this is the most optimal way to contact his office.

I tried to contact him through Skype, but I still got no answer. Do you have any other alternatives?

Yeah he is booked till then and maybe even later is what I was told, thats why I am considering Dr Metin Kucukkaya in Istanbul who is just as good.

Donghoon would strongly consider submitting these cases (https://dalribeforeandafterdrdonghoon.web-dream.co.kr/) for rigorous peer review. Gathering more comprehensive data on these patients and publishing at a reputable journal, specifically at the form of case studies, would greatly enhance the clinical utility for other physicians and prospective patients. Presenting the data on a personal website or repository with limited case information would restrict its potential impact and limit its value in the medical community and patients alike. Papers published in (reputable) journals are reviewed by other physicians (peer review), which usually makes it considerably more difficult to publish a paper there. Having case reports that haven't been peer reviewed at a personal repository (website) only shows that one is confident enough to share their work.
