this dwarf woman made herself 'normal' short height of 4 10.

what is interesting is she didn't get her arms lengthenened, so she has a super short wingspan, she must be at least 8" taller than wingspan.

was AL not recomended by her doctor, maybe she chose to not care, intereresting anyway.

Here's a video of someone else with achondroplasia I found on youtube that did both leg and arm lengthening.  It's a lot of talking but if you skip to the 3:50 mark with the before and after picture it looks like it turned out pretty well for her.  In my opinion though, cases of dwarfism or other deformities are the only reason I'd think something like arm lengthening is acceptable.  The doctor that did both the leg and the arm lengthening was Dr. Shawn Standard.

Dear users

In Achondroplasya the shortest bone is humerus comoared to all other Long bones.
Patients also have elbow flexed and cubitus valgus deformity.
It is very important for patients to have longer arms and the ability to fully extend their elbow, so they can reach parts of their body to be 100% autonomous.

Achondroplasyc humerus Are very short (11-13 cm) and surgery may injure radial nerve.
But in bone dysplasia, humerus lengthening makes a Big difference as life quality improves substantially.

I couldn't agree more. I think arm lengthening is freaky and overkill for LL.
