They used midparental heights in the study, but for me personally, my growth charts were putting me at about 185 cm before I hit puberty (as opposed to 182 cm for my midparental height).
Early puberty spurt leads to a final height shorter than genetically determined?

Thx. I think actual age can't eventually make sense and your bone age was prematured cuz of your precocious puberty.

What do you mean?
Quote from: ReadRothbard on December 05, 2021, 08:55:13 PMMy final adult height was predicted using medical tools, midparental height, and growth charts. But yes, precocious puberty is known to massively decrease your adult height without medical intervention (by about 22 cm). Here’s a study about it where patients were given treatment: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11600530/
So your parents are how tall?
My mother and father were 168 cm and 183 cm at their peak. However, I was projected to be about 185 cm, or roughly 4cm taller than what my brother ended up being.

I started showing obvious facial hair growth at about 9-10.

yes it's early, I also threw a 12-year-old boy, who was also early in puberty

So at what age did you stop growing?
And what do you think was causing your early puberty?

I largely stopped growing by about my 13th birthday, then maybe grew another 1-2 inches after that.
