(On occasion)
Does eating pizza once a week matter? Or a glass of soda once a week?

lol you will be just fine eating pizza, should avoid soda though if you want good regeneration. Chocolate, sugary foods and caffeinated drinks (including coffee and tea) are all things you should stay away from - but in moderation they're not going to hurt you.

Best answer is asking your doctor

No it doesnt

You are in a bed most of the time, you wont be eating a lot. Your muscles atrophy due to lack of use and you dont have the resting metabolic rate you once had. Eating junk food like McDonalds and drinking soda isnt goiing to have that much of an impact on your healing or bone growth which imo are largely down to a combination of genetics and luck

Im currently in beijing lengthening. Ive lost 31kgs since April this year ive atrophied hugely and i currently look like a concentration camp victim. My diet here has consisted of a lot of junk food, i eat a few yoghurts a day, some sponge like bread thing for breakfast and a pot noodle type for dinner. I cannot eat the food here it is by far the worst most salty food i have ever tasted in my life it would kill the appetitenof anyone.

Regardless of my poor diet my bone growth the other week was described as superb. Bone growth just like height itself is largely a combination of genetics and oure luck just like height itself.

There are folk here eating good foods taking calcium tablets etc and their bone growth is poor

Good consolidation depends on genetics and good surgical technique. If the bone isn't properly fixed you will develop non union or pseudoarthrosis even if your genetics are good. Eating junk food doesn't affect much bone healing

i said it best ask the doctor himself, not the philosphers here. but i think in moderation its fine, not sure about soda because its affect the bone for normal people and make it weak

I asked Dr Ahuja about whether or not it's okay to drink soda and he said it will not have an effect on the regenerate. Whether or not I should drink soda is another matter. The reason I asked is because India has a soda called Appy Fizz that is so delicious and tastes like sparkling cider. I couldn't stop drinking it for a while.

I think it's paranoia to believe soda will ruin bone growth. I believe that ample calcium and essential nutrients combined most importantly with lots of blood flow is key. Whether you also drink soda won't matter. If you want great bone growth get some solid cardio focused on your legs. I suggest going to a full sized pool not a hotel pool and swim intensely and far. Worked for me anyway.
