Exogen is FDA approved to stimulate bone for faster recovery or non union and I read mixed reviews. Is this device snake oil or does it really work?

The company that created Exogen suggest using it once a day for 20 minutes. I read online that people are using it twice or 3 times 20 minutes sessions each time for faster bone growth.. has anyone used Exogen more than once a day?
