I believe that anyone who goes through cll and identifies as a religious individual is simply foolish. If they truly have faith in their religion, they ought to be content with what God has provided for them. Pursuing cll essentially alters God’s intentions and questions His competence. As an atheist, I do not experience moral conflicts. Any insights?

Indeed, I understand your perspective. However, one might question whether getting a haircut, a tattoo, or any sort of surgery is a disrespect to God.

In my view, if you undergo limb lengthening surgery to enhance your life, I perceive no issues with that. Particularly as it neither detracts from others nor poses harm to oneself. It may also alleviate depression and contribute to a greater enjoyment of life. Truly, we ought to be thankful that such procedures are possible.

Btw, if anyone possesses an answer from a religious viewpoint regarding why God appears to be so partial to certain individuals, bestowing upon them numerous good traits despite their criminal behavior, while seemingly unfair to others who are respectable human beings?

Could it be that those factors are also caused by God?

Nobody has informed you, nor should anyone, that God needs to be just. That is why I constantly draw parallels between short men and individuals suffering from catastrophic, unhealable illnesses or conditions, as when it comes to emotional well-being and mental health, I perceive no distinction between them.
