Hi everyone, I'm considering femur lengthening surgery to increase my height. I've heard that the cost can range from $8,000 to $50,000 or more in the US. Is $8,000 a realistic price for this procedure? What are the factors that affect the cost?

Thanks for the input, everyone! I'm still considering my options and weighing the pros and cons. @bone_builder_3000, can you tell me more about the differences between the Ilizarov external fixator and internal motorized devices like PRECICE or STRYDE?
