That is a great question. First and foremost, I want to be clear and say that I did not like being short....but honestly, I never allowed height to define who I was going to be in the world. I realized that I could still have everything I wanted despite the fact that I was short and male. As far as aesthetics, I always took great care of my self and had lots of confidence. I ignored the ignorant and I focused on my own thing. I had goals and I wanted certain things and I went after those things and I attained those things. I didn't spend too much time worrying about what others were thinking of me. Having said that... I still wanted to be taller and once it became reasonably possible, I went after it. Now I'm 5'3 and should be 5'4 by the end of the March. The one thing in life I did not accomplish was growing and.... I can now check that box off.
I dealt with my height.... and I chose to not deal with anyone that would pre-judge in an unfair way due to my height.
