Hey everyone,

I'm from Austin Texas and I've finally decided to undergo Precice leg lengthening surgery to increase my height by 3 inches from my thighs. Im 35 years old 5'10" totally healthy and running regularly. I have a garage so I will leave it to my brother in my absence. If all goes well i will get back to work by the end of December.

After much research and preparation, I'm thrilled to say I'll be having the procedure done by Dr. Fatih Arslanoglu in Turkey. I managed to catch a discount offer from the clinic and secured the surgery for $40,000.

I'm set to fly out next week, with the surgery scheduled for July 5th. I've arranged to stay at an Airbnb in the Seba Suites at Kagithane, which seems like a perfect spot for recovery. The complex has all the amenities I could need—a grocery store for daily needs, a swimming pool for some low-impact exercise post-surgery, and even a gym to start rehabilitation when I'm ready.

Height dysphoria has been a challenge for me, affecting my self-esteem and confidence for years. This surgery is more than just about gaining a few inches; it's about overcoming personal hurdles and improving my quality of life. I'm excited and a bit nervous, but mostly looking forward to the positive changes this will bring.

I'll be sharing my journey as I go, hoping my experience can help others who are considering this procedure. If anyone here has tips, advice, or questions, feel free to reach out. Here’s to aiming higher—quite literally!

Cheers

Hey everyone,

I’m back with an update on my journey! I’m thrilled to report that I reached a total of 3 inches in height gain by the end of September. The lengthening period went pretty smoothly overall. I did lose quite a bit of weight during the process, but given that I started a bit on the chubby side, it’s actually turned out to be a positive change.

The nights were sometimes challenging with pain attacks, but I found that Xanax was a lifesaver for sleep. I didn’t start using it until I hit the 4 cm mark, when I began to feel sudden muscle pains at night. I combined it with Geralgine-K, Contramal, and Rantudil about an hour before sleep, which really helped ease the discomfort.

In an unexpected twist, I developed gallstones about a month after my surgery and needed them removed. The medical team was fantastic—they helped me in the middle of the night with an ambulance and took great care of me throughout the ordeal. I can be a bit of a handful sometimes, but they handled everything smoothly.

I also wanted to mention that I usually used the Yemek Sepeti app for food most of the time. I lost count of how many shawarma rolls and durum doner I ate during my stay! 😄

I flew back home on September 28th, and I’m now officially 6 feet tall! My friends and family hardly recognized me, especially since I also decided to shave my head. I’ve been using a walker to practice walking and using bicycle to regain muscle strength. My posture is a bit off—I should have done more stretching during recovery—but I’m confident it’ll improve over time.

I’m being careful about not pushing my legs too hard until they fully consolidate, but I’m trying to do some exercises a couple of times a day. I’m pain-free now and not using anything to help me sleep. Just have to be cautious when getting up or sitting down to avoid putting too much pressure on my nails until my bones fully support them.

Oh, and I couldn’t write anything here earlier because I forgot my laptop on the way out to catch my plane—oops!

I understand skepticism, especially when it comes to something as significant as surgery. However, I’m sharing my genuine experience here, and it’s been a positive one for me. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I hope we can support each other in our respective paths. Wishing you all the best!

All in all, I can confidently say this was the best money I’ve ever spent. Thanks for all the support to Lengthening Turkey team.

Cheers!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share another update on my recovery journey since my last post. It's been a little over a month since I returned home, and I’m feeling great!

First off, I’m still enjoying my new height—being 6 feet tall feels amazing! It’s funny how many people have commented on my appearance. I’ve been getting used to the reactions, and it’s been a nice boost to my confidence.

As for my recovery, I’ve been steadily improving. I’m taking it slow, making sure to listen to my body, and focusing on maintaining good posture. I’ve also incorporated more stretching into my routine, which is helping a lot with any stiffness.

I’m still doing exercises a couple of times a day, focusing on strength and mobility. I’m happy to report that my legs feel strong, and I’m no longer experiencing any pain.

In terms of my diet, I’ve diversified my meals a bit more. I’m experimenting with healthier options with more veggies and protein! It feels good to nourish my body as I continue to heal.

One thing I’ve learned is the importance of patience. This journey has taught me that recovery takes time, and it’s okay to progress at my own pace. I’m excited about the future and what I can achieve as I regain my strength.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and encouragement. I’m grateful to be sharing this journey with you.

Cheers!

Hey everyone

Sorry i disappeared for a long time life got busy for real work family stuff and honestly once i started feeling normal again i kinda just wanted to live and stop thinking about surgery every day

But i wanted to come back and close the loop with a proper update because a lot happened since my last posts

Last week i flew back to Turkey for my nail removal surgery and im happy to say im basically recovered totally now the bones are solid i feel strong and normal in daily life

About the removal surgery
It was honestly not that bad the operation itself was quick and the team handled everything smoothly like before
The only annoying part is yeah it hurts to walk right now because they had to reopen the old incisions so the muscles and skin are sore again
Its that fresh cut feeling more than deep bone pain
each day is getting better though and i already feel like in a couple weeks it will be nothing

For anyone asking if nail removal is scary
No its not like the original surgery at all
For me the first surgery and lengthening phase was the real journey removal is more like a short pit stop

Now replying to some of the comments here

To the people who supported me thank you seriously i read everything even when i didnt reply it helped a lot

To the skeptical guys saying this diary is fake or marketing i get it the internet is full of weird stuff
but im a real person i did this for my own reasons i dont work for any clinic and i dont get paid for posting
If anything i was too lazy to even update lol
I posted when i could and when i felt like it and then i just went back to living
not everyone wants to sit on a forum every week writing essays especially after you finally start feeling normal again

And about pain and stress
I never said it was zero pain i had hard nights and some rough weeks like anyone else
but it was manageable and it was worth it for me
I think people need to stop acting like every positive experience is fake
some people have smoother recoveries some have harder ones thats just reality

For the guy saying prove its not fake
I dont really have anything to prove to anyone but i understand the question
All i can say is this was my experience and i shared it because i know how much reading diaries helped me before i did it
Take it or leave it

Anyway im grateful i did this and im grateful for everyone who kept things respectful here
if anyone has questions about nail removal or the later stage recovery feel free to ask i’ll try to check in more often now

Cheers

Great to hear it worked out so well for you. My friend is doing is femurs now and wonder how much stretching sessions he should be doing between lengthening. The PT told him to do four per day right after each lengthening process. He was doing two and they took about 1.5 hours to complete, twice a day. What did you do and what do you recommend?

thanks man happy your friend is doing femurs hope he is doing well

for me the biggest thing was consistency not one huge session

i did stretching right after each lengthening then again later in the day
so basically three to four short sessions spread out
each one maybe fifteen to twenty minutes
and one proper physio session when the therapist came

i focused on keeping the knee straight and not letting the hip get stuck in flexion
quads hip flexors hamstrings adductors and a lot of ankle work too
gentle holds breathe into it do not force it like crazy
it should feel tight and uncomfortable but not sharp pain

walking a little every day helped a lot as well even if it was slow and annoying
if two long sessions takes him one and a half hours each time and he starts dreading it i would rather split it up and make it easier to stick to

but honestly he should listen to his own pt and surgeon first because everyone tightens up different during lengthening
