Full weight bearing nails 2021

Hello guys,

I am new in the forum and starting to be interested in LL techniques as I would like to grow a few cms (7-8) one day to combat my height disforia.

I know STRYDE nail has been recalled by nuvasive since Feb 2021 and I thought this was the most suitable option in the market due to its full weight bearing capacity and technology.

Do you know any other full weight bearing techniques used currently that allow you to stand up almost unaided sometimes during the lenghtning process? Let’s say since month 1-2 after surgery...

I have heard about PRECICE 2 or Fitbone but these aren’t full weight bearing... how about Guichet Nail?

Are there any other techniques that I should consider?

Hi, i really apprecistr your answer.

In my opinion internal rods seem to be less dangerous, so I think i am going to focus my research on that.

So nowadays, with the stryde recall, the only full weight bearing internal nail available is G-nail?

Really appreciate your reply to my post as I am a big fan of your youtube channel.

It would be awesome to have such an interview, not only to know about the procedure but also what is comming next for LL in the future. Maybe he plans to expand or commercialize the nail in more  markets (as far as i am concerned it is also being used by Dr. Giotikas in Greece).

By the way guys, I have a question regarding the G-nail, I read that on the day of the operation, you become automatically 1cm taller. Does this makes the Guitchet nail the fastest to achive the desired height in the market nowadays?
