Of course you should go with precise and you will need much less time than 9 months to walk unaided.
After 2-3 months from stoping lengthening you will be able to walk unaided unless your bone gap is very thin.

Can you go into detail on this?

I am thinking about getting g-nail because I don't want to wait 2-3 years for stryde

He's trolling you. Walking without assistance after the first day makes your life extremely convenient. On precise you can't do this until at least 5 months, and with an ugly gait.

I did mine on betzbone, a similar mechanical nail to gnail. I'm doing just fine.

G-Nail has its difficulties (clicking) but I don't think it's reasonable to call the nail crap. Man, I don't even know how it's even possible to do Precice, I'm two weeks post op with G-Nail and you have to weightbear more than what you think (toilet, taxi...).

Same here. I also can't imagine how to do it without weight bearing. Probably with a nurse 24/7? Still would be difficult... Or maybe we misunderstand something...

Or one leg at a time. That is really the only way to do Precice unless you have a caretaker 24/7. I still cannot wrap my head around it when people doing bilateral Precice say they used an Uber and went to the airport. I'm like "what? how?"
