So you think being or as you described turning gay is possible due to your upbringing? Well that's an age old discussion much smarter people than both of us have not found an answer to yet so while interesting I don't see the point on discussing.
Luckily talking about it brings a step closer to reaching the answer.
but it's one of those inquiries that can never be measured nor tracked - it's different for everyone.
The reason why these matters are to be discussed here is because it involves "height" being a turnover for sexual preference. It's like saying that tall, anorexic females are always in a higher probability to be lesbian, or short, fat guys are always more prone to homosexuality. Height neurosis? It can affect people of any height. Depression? Anyone can be depressed. To counter these upbringings, there are straight males who are extremely short, and straight females who are tall. There are short men/women who are happy with their height, and tall men/women who are happy with their height. There are individuals of all shapes and sizes who are depressed.
It's all in the mind
It is created by them, and only using self-objective criticism to support it. Really, all that needs to be done is to condition your mindset into appreciating everything you have and are from now to the very end.
Easier said than done, we are merely human.
