Hey Hanna,

Glad to hear about your progress, even a little progress is great. I want to ask you what Dr. Betz told about the crutches, when you will be able to move without them? Is it a couple of months during consolidation or something like that?

I will ask him on friday, when we take new x-rays. He told me in january that I could walk unaided by the end of April. But I'm a very careful person and will wait what the x-rays show on friday and then again in 6 weeks, before I risk to walk without crutches too early.

My latest x-rays showed that I had a little discrepancy of 2mm left, which I corrected by now. Only thing I have to do now, is stretching, stretching, stretching and being patient. Hanna84 - Internal Femurs, Dr. Betz 2013
Interestingly my x-rays show about nearly 1cm more distraction than I expected from my clicking count. When I was measured, I was already 1,66m although I can't stand straight because of the duck-ass I still have. Maybe I will even reach more than 1,67m, I will let you know, as soon as I'm able to stand straight and measure correctly.
The nails and screws are ok and my next x-rays are taken by the end of April. Till then I keep on walking on crutches. I keep you updated.  Hanna84 - Internal Femurs, Dr. Betz 2013

Hanna,

Could you post a video of you walking on crutches wearing shorts, you can hide your face and only show yourself waist down. I want to see your proportions and femur and tibia ratio.

Thanks (I want to do 8-9 in femurs I want to see how it would look) that you so much!

Amazing how big money can lessen the pain and complication.

I think women should only lengthen the femur. Maybe it's just me, but I find women with long femur sexy. As for guys it would be freaky.
