Never mind this. I just realised SARK finally came out a three weeks ago and it's already up 20%. Buy* SARK.

Has inflation or new covid variant affected your LL plans? What would you do?

Make that 26%.
I think it does not at present but it will in the future.
Hope this fking pandemic can be smashed asap cuz I gotta move out for USA for LL and if USA was still being screwed up due to COVID-19 then I can't accomplish my plan.

Update: 50%.
Quote from: SpeedDialer on November 27, 2021, 06:49:20 PMMy current plan is to do a consultation with Giotikas in late Spring then do surgery with him in the fall. Unsure how things might play out.
The very small APY of most bank accounts is not really helping. Don't want to put that money into stocks because afraid of volatility.
I'll be able to get a third covid shot before I go, and I hope it helps for new variants like omega.
Inflation in Europe is currently relatively low. Plus, "inflation" in LL direct cost is generally not linked to general consumer inflation.
I would be more concerned with variations in exchange rates between USD and Euro (not Turkish lira or whatever other currency).
Regarding investments, altough people are loosing money in saving accounts with returns like infinitesimal 0,1% versus eg 2% inflation, my advise, if we are doing LL in the near future, is not taking risks.

It's one of the principles of fundamental economics. When the demand of consumer is increasing, the price will simultaneously increase thereof. So of course LL cost is linked to the general inflation of consumptions.
As for the flexibility of exchange rates, lately RMB is said to be the dominated currency even among the Europe. So I think now that I am Chinese, in the future I can do LL at lower costs.

Not "relatively low inflation" anymore.... A new war, this time in Europe, true or false supply changes, and speculative companies and economies around the world have brought inflation back. Let's hope at least this doesn't reflect also directly in CLL costs...
The yuan has persistently devalued against other major currencies to maintain a competitive advantage to sell manufactured goods. I can't see this changing long term
How has the economic situation of the world affected your decisions?
Right now USD is pretty strong compared to the Euro, which helps me out.
On the other hand, all the living costs in Greece are going up in general which is bad.
Interest rates being so low is bad -> I get jack crap on my USA savings account
The SEC is shutting down crypto interest accounts for non-rich USA users
There is defi in crypto but I am a little bit afraid of it
I'm at wits end and am a bit worried about my original plans to do a second LL on tibias in 1-2 years if inflation gets worth. I paid for internal femurs but haven't gone to Athens yet and have about 90K USD left. What might you do?
Parihar is not much cheaper than Giotikas now for precise 2 unfortunately, though India living expenses are less (somewhat offset by higher ticket flight price and I'd have to pay for travel vaccines out of pocket)
