Stryde is made in the US of A. Apparently if I have to use it as a patient in India it needs to be imported by some third party company who will then give it to my doctor. How is the sterility of the nails maintained? It might sound like a silly question. Does it come in a big box and as long as the box is not opened, it remains sterile? Will my surgeon know if the nail is not sterile in any way?
How are stryde nails kept sterile during transport?
it doesn't matter, your surgeon makes sure to sterilize before insertion lol ...
Surgeon will make nail sterile before insertion
Why not these nails? What i know , before insertion Hospital does plasma sterilization autoclave
I would assume it's like the single use needles. It's prepped in a vacuum tight storage that is treated with heat. Thus becoming sterile inside a plastic container bag.

probably. I have seen this video where Dr. Debiparshard I think removes this nail from a transparent shiny tight plastic container while his assistant holds the container for him. I guess the surgeon would verify the integrity of the seal of the container.
