Stryde is made in the US of A. Apparently if I have to use it as a patient in India it needs to be imported by some third party company who will then give it to my doctor. How is the sterility of the nails maintained? It might sound like a silly question. Does it come in a big box and as long as the box is not opened, it remains sterile? Will my surgeon know if the nail is not sterile in any way?

no, Stryde and Precice nails are not sterilized in the hospital. Other equipment does get sterilized in an autoclave but not these nails. The expectation is that they are transported sterile.

probably. I have seen this video where Dr. Debiparshard I think removes this nail from a transparent shiny tight plastic container while his assistant holds the container for him. I guess the surgeon would verify the integrity of the seal of the container.
