Quote from: Medium Drink Of Water on January 18, 2022, 06:08:33 AMI hope this isn't about pining over how tall you'd be if you'd started HGH at some age.
Then they are just barking on the wrong tree cuz HGH is not achievable for anyone and if your height is not under -2SD, then you can't achieve HGH and what's more your family revenue is another crucial factor of if you can achieve.
it is a question that I have always asked myself too, having never visited the endocrinologist, I don't know if I have had HGH deficiencies, but I always wonder how much taller I could have become if I had taken hormones, and the more I think about it the more I feel bad, I think it happens to you too! unfortunately many things are not known as children, we know them when it is too late!!
Quote from: Mulholland Dr on January 18, 2022, 03:24:00 AMIn fact it depends on your country's average height. For instance if you are only 162cm tall around 18 y.o in America then you can achieve HGH according to your country's growth reference.
I don't think even at 162 they will give it to you. I was recorded as 164 when I was 18 and I begged them to give it to me but they didn't, average height is 178 where I am. You have to be abnormally short. I was so lucky I grew 6cm at 19 because I slept all day but it wasn't enough to maximise my genes.

Did they examine your growth plates? If the result showed that they were fused then for sure they wouldn't inject HGH into you but according to your statements they were not fused.. too strange...

They were fused but they told me even if I came earlier they would refuse to give it.
P.S I don't know how I grew an extra 2 inches.

How are you measuring your height?

Barefoot; at morning 171, at night 169, average the two is my "height".

Alright, sorry to hear that man.
But was your height 164cm recorded correctly? If not then it is impossible to grow any taller if growth plates are fused(I mean your legs' growth plates). Then I also can't figure out how you made it.. Or was your height 170cm recorded correctly?

I went to two different doctors a few months apart, one said I was 164 and it recorded in the afternoon, the other one was 171cm and I went at 9AM and I also asked my father to measure at night and he got 169cm. Also when they said my growth plates were closed, they said it's "very unlikely to gain a growth spurt" they never indicated it was impossible so maybe I did grow. To be honest I don't know if I grew or not since 5'5-5'7 is almost nothing but I certainly hope I did, if I'm still at 164 then I might need two lengthenings.

You went to 2 doctors and was measured as 2 totally different heights just a few months apart? It is not that complicated just go for the doctor who measured you shorter and if you did grow just within a few months, you can get measured as a higher number under the hand of that doctor and I think you are supposed to give it a try.
Actually in medicine to judge if you can grow any taller or not they just check your growth plates to judge and everything is not that complex. Once your growth plates are fused, your legs cannot achieve heights cuz growth plates cannot achieve growth hormones anymore(at least medical reference materials put it that way).
I hope it was just the doctor who measured you shorter that he/she made a mistake.
Also, remember you gotta guarantee using the same kind of measuring tools otherwise the difference is just a joke.
