I don't get how he has so many patients. Is he the cheapest LL surgeon or just slick marketing.

Could you give us reasons why a lot of the doctors in the US refuse to give treatments for your case?

Cheap and slick marketing. When he meets you he’ll be nice then he’ll disappear, he won’t even answer his phone

I’m going to one to see my IT band, he didn’t refuse me for that. I was talking about when I had an infection, I went to an orthopedic and he didn’t want to see my case, he asked me to go to a research university because he wasn’t qualified. I think they are scared of lawsuits or it’s just too much trouble for them

I went to the ER too, they saw the infection and didn’t want to cure it. They just gave me antibiotics and told me to find an orthopedic. If you have an infection I would recommend to go to a university otherwise it will be hard to find an orthopedic who wants or can take on your case

I also went to see Dr Mahboubian for my infection(not IT band) and he was shocked. He treated me very well and referred me to an infection specialist(I went back to turkey instead). He also mentioned my IT band was weird but I didn’t ask about it too much cuz my main concerned was my infection, I thought I would end up amputated.

By the way, antibiotics are horrible for you, halil is very irresponsible for handing them out like nothing. He’s gonna end up creating a super strand and get people amputated

I was a little confused because my experience with repairing the infection went very well, I went to the ER a few times and they were able to schedule a same-day repair and it didn't cost me much.

Maybe it’s because I went at night, they just referred me to orthopedics to follow up with and had trouble getting an infection specialist to see me

I've beer about 3 years out of this forum. Even then we mentioned again to avoid places like Turkey and India for LL and also that external femur, even with LON, are always problematic and no respectable doctor do this way.
You took too many risks and things turned bad but congratulations for sharing your experience so others will avoid these doctors and anything else  except from fully internals for femurs.
