(Most?) people are fed up with masking. I feel everyone will gradually stop masking within 1-2 years (aside from a few hardcore left or elderly), and the pandemic will lose political relevance. Not sure about masking in healthcare tho, might take a while to undo that one :/. Hope it doesn't become some kind of permanent precaution

A big event like concert in some countries, people were asked to wear masks despite the weather being hot.

The last pandemic kept coming back.  A mutation that makes COVID more deadly could still result in widespread lockdowns.

People will sooner or later learn coexisting with Covid and giving up to grapple with it.

According to the world health organization, 290,000 to 650,000 people die of flu-related causes every year worldwide. it's ironic we never masked for the flu but are masking for covid when more people are vaccinated against covid

The scariest part is the virus might keep mutating...leading to many unknown results.

It's not a big deal in my opinion. All viruses mutate. There is a different vaccine against the flu each flu season. The problem is big figures fearmongering for their political agendas

To me it is already over. We don´t use more masks in my school, only in buses and then no-one uses them in the streets. It is not mandatory here to use them everywhere, exept in buses. China is hurting their economy by just trying to save 80 year olds.
