In my case, brother is 6ft tall, other one is over 6ft tall, Uncle is 6ft tall, Mom is taller than the average woman where I'm from (5'6"), my Dad was probably only like 5'7.5" though. I never really cared about height until I found out that I wasn't actual 5'9" (average height here), but actually 5'8" and now I can't get it out of my head.

I really don't understand why I never became as tall as my brothers, or at least average height. I was the heaviest baby, was breast fed etc. However, growing up, in my school years, I really didn't eat a lot and was skinny. Who knows.

Just now feeling like it's so unfair that I'm so short compared to my brothers.

Anyone else?

I have a friend whose dad is 6 feet but he is like 5'3. His mom is also 5'3 so I think it depends on the luck.

I can feel he's always considering suicide.

Well, there are only 2 possibilities here:

1. You stunted your height

2. Bad luck in genetic lottery

I have 3 cousins one is 5’11 another is 5’10 and the other one is like 5-3 he got unlucky.
Most of the times if your the shortest you just got unlucky in your genetics.

Dad 5’9, shortest out of 3 brothers who are all 6ft+. I’m 5’5. Mom is 5’1 but her only brother is 6ft+. All men in family are 180cm minimum besides my dad. I kinda landed between my mom and dad, right in the middle

My parents have two very different height genes. My dad says he is almost 5’10 but I’m about 5’9.3 and a little taller so I’d say he’s actually 5’8.5. My mom is 5’8. I always hear that you get your height from your mom and that was true for my older brother is is about 6’1. Lucky bastard.
