My mom says all boys grow into their 20s, but I don't believe her.
Some say boys stop growing at 16, but I've grown maybe a little under an inch since 16. Others say 18.
I've noticed a lot of people I met at 12, 13, 14 years old were really shocked when I told them how old I was, which of course made me feel really insecure. I could tell from my pictures in middle school I didn't really even look my age, not taking into account height, but my 19 year old brother's 8th grade photo still looks like him.
However, I think I hit my puberty "milestones" at an average or slightly late average rate. My growth spurt started at 12 and a half, started growing hair in certain areas at slightly after 13 1/2, and a voice change at almost 14. (Not sure when it started, it was gradual but no signs at 13 1/2, and at 13 and 11 months a friend who hadn't seen me in 6 months commented on my voice change which was a huge confidence boost). I started gaining muscle at 15 1/2 but that's also when I started lifting. I still have little facial hair but I feel that might be normal for an Asian, however I look a lot like my dad who has a lot of hair for a Chinese man.
So I probably am not going to finish early, hopefully I'll finish growing late. I'm almost 17 1/2 and may or may not have grown a quarter inch, but I'm worried it might be measurement error. I measure multiple times a day.
How much have you grown since 17? Any help would be appreciated.

Does this sound like normal progression or slightly late?
I remember at 12-14 everyone would uniformally think I looked younger. Don't know if that was entirely height related or also face/physical progression related.
Being 4'5" in 6th grade was super tough. Everyone else was much taller, even the ones who thought that they were "short".
