One of my biggest worry right now prior to doing LL is my proportions after the surgery,
Not to mention my leg functions after lengthening that amount.
My current height is about 163cm, with my leg length (measured from crotch down) is about 73 cm
My wing span is about 161cm
My hope was to lengthening 5 inches (split between femur and tibia)
Both of these considered, how realistic is this?
How realistic is lengthening 5 inches if your height is 163cm?
Close to none, going past 4 inches for both segments will wreck your proportions and mechanical functions.
Out of the curiosity, whats your sitting height?
Roughly 90cm
I was hoping to hit at least 173cm ish
4 inches is 10cm so it will be 173cm.
5'4 to 5'8 is a huge jump, where are you living?
you could even try to reach 5'9

At least 5 inches? Is too much, I think you should call It a day if you do 4 inches And go out without complications or even 11 cm, but no more.
I currently live in Canada
If I were to just have 10cm increase would it significantly reduce the complication?

If done in two surgerys yes a reduced risk.
