Hi guys, I would like to know if any of you knows how to best prepare the IT band for LL. As far as I know, it's not a muscle, but it's still something that you can and should "stretch" or exercise.
Any ideas/exercises?
Edit: Maybe something like this?

Thinking about doing it with Betz who doesn't release it.

Stretch as much as possible. Pray that your soft tissue adapts well and if not, ask for IT band release when you hit your limits and want to go further. Some Betz patients seem to go to even 9 or 10 cm (Tomhard tallertree to name a few) without much problems but hey there are bad cases too (MasterHY eg). Its a gamble.
