How was Tom Holland even casted as Spiderman?

I just don't see the appeal this guy has. Not only is he short, but also very narrow shoulder, skinny and not particularly great looking.





I don't understand how someone would entrust this guy with such a big budget movie. The movie made me feel like watching a kid movie.

Anyway, to answer your question, how about using some common sense and deduction? 1. Disney does whatever the füćk they want 2. Really?! Looooaddsss of girls and maybe some dude love him. Hes a super star and a good actor. His height is not relevant at all!!! . Also he's meant to be a school kid in the movies so it wouldn't make sense if he looked old. End of the day,  he's rich, can get any girl he wants and will eventually become the new iron man

The fact is height is incredibly important in society ,but no one looks at others with such a narrow view as yourself.
He's a good actor ,has a great out-going personality and is above average facially so he has broad appeal.

Edit: I've just googled his height , he's 5 8' so is only an inch below male average . I know actors normally exaggerate their heights but I don't think many would tower over him outside of Hollywood.

Typical post by a mentally ill poster that is Bruce Wayne. Spider-Man was always associated with the figure of a kid, a teenager and a guy who's on the shorter side. A lot of girls like Holland as they find him cute and attractive, my girlfriend included. A short guy achieves success and tuns out a big hit, who's trying to pull him back down? Tall people? No, another short guy. Sad.
