I'm 21 years old and I am studying for my bachelors degree.
I realize I've wasted lots of money and could already have saved up a chunk of money to get this surgery. But instead I've wasted it on vacations, trips, food etc.

So I've made the decision to start saving now, and as I am a student funds are very tight.

Even if I did have the money, I can't take the surgery before 3 years... as we have certain things that are mandatory to attend in bachelor program(can't have less than 90% attendence on these).

I guess the positive thing is that I can now save up for 3 years and actually go to a decent surgeon and clinic.

Sorry for vent.

Take care everyone.

I am 32 years old. When I was your age, I spent money like there is no tomorrow.

I was splurging on unnecessary things and gambling. Don't do stupid things like me

and you will have enough money for the surgery in 3 years. Cheers.

I will say... money spent on vacations, trips, and food was not wasted.  You most likely had a lot of fun and great memories.  This surgery will get done in due time.  Do not get this done in Turkey or India to "save money."  There have been 100's of horror stories from there from people trying to bargain-shop and now they can't walk  Check out Cyborg 4 Life channel on YouTube for all the info on CLL you could ever want.

Most western European destinations are solid choices for LL (especially Germany, where many LL surgeons are located)

Why is becker not a good surgeon?

I am asking this because I was planning to do the surgery with becker at one point in time. Not anymore though.

Anyways, what I liked about becker is his nail is full-weight bearing and allows you to extend far greater than precice nail.

What I don't like about becker is his accomodations are too expensive.

I have a fixed budget for this surgery and have no intention of spending more than the budget.
