I have contacted three doctors and they all seem to be good, but I just don't know who to go with. Maybe you guys can help me?
-Ghassan salameh(I trust this guy but I don't like the idea of living in Germany for 3 months with broken legs)
-Manish dhawan(I don't trust him 100% and he doesn't have an organized accommodation for his patients, but the price of he surgery is really cheap   I am really finding it hard to decide on which doctor...)
-Yasser el-batrawy( I 100% trust him and he is really cool but I am having problems with the visa so maybe it will take 2-3 more months till I will be able to get the visa, I hate waiting  I am really finding it hard to decide on which doctor... fk Egypt..)
-Mangal parihar(only sent him an email with few questions but haven't really discussed doing the surgery with him yet)

Although I personally believe that  guichet and paley are the best, but damn that price  I am really finding it hard to decide on which doctor..., I don't think its worth it at all. unless someone is filthy rich then I can see why he would go to these doctors.

I don't understand? the link you posted is about dr sarin not elbatrawy? maybe you posted the wrong link?

Anyway, I really trust dr elbatrawy, I have asked him a lot of questions and read many of his published papers,he seem to really know what he is doing. Also, he did his training and fellowship under professor Maurizio Catagni then he did his phd under the supervision of dr. paley.

He also seem to attend international LL conferences every year and do presentations.

Quote from: paddy10tellys on June 09, 2016, 08:30:07 PMI met Dr Salameh & Schmidt, in Germany, this week. They are a team. I was very impressed. I trust them. I like them both. I thought Konisberg was absolutely beautiful & I really like the look & feel of Germany. Likewise, I met Dr Guichet 2/52 ago in London. I trust him as well. I'm having my Tibia's done first so it's Germany for me. I'm going to try & learn some German while I'm there. It I wanted my Femurs doing I would go with Dr G. The others I can't say because I have not met them in person, or researched their work. Good luck, Cloudo.

Thanks mate

I am intending to do external tibia lengthening too, I really would have loved to do it with salameh but I didn't feel comfortable in Germany. I don't know why maybe because of the language barrier? the weather? I really don't know what was the reason but I felt depressed in Germany  I am really finding it hard to decide on which doctor...
Good luck paddy
btw when will you do the surgery? or you haven't set a date yet?

BEWARE
« Reply #103 on: December 29, 2015, 02:43:27 AM »

FROM ANOTHER SITE (BUT IT'S USEFUL HERE TOO)

It has come to our attention that some Leg Lengthening surgeons in developing countries have encouraged their patients to write positive reviews to be submitted to Short Persons Support. This is done while patients are still being cared for. Patients have reported that they feel pressured to do so, in order to receive proper care. To reduce this burden on patients, who are undergoing severe physical rehabilitation, we have decided to permanently discontinue posting reviews about leg lengthening surgeons.
With the use of IP analysis tools, we have also found that some doctors have written positive reviews for themselves or negative reviews about their competitors. These reviews have not been posted.
It is truly shameful that such professionals, who have dedicated so much time and effort to excel in their field, and who should have earned our utmost respect and admiration, have sunk so low.

This is all very cloak and dagger. Can you post the screen shots of the evidence.

It's on the Short Person Support website under leg lengthening tab. It's pretty much copied and pasted from the website, and really, adds nothing to the discussion. I can't even confirm when that post was made since there's no timestamp and it looks like SPS hasn't been updated in a long time. Anyways I'm 90% sure this was ages ago and it never specifies a particular doctor so eh?

I think this was made in reference to the feud between two Egyptian doctors (Elbatrawy and one other guy) that was going on years ago, when ShortSupport was still being updated.

Dude why don't you check the links you post before posting them? I appreciate your effort but this really isn't helping me, the link you posted is about sarin not elbatrawy!
As for the info you quoted from the old forum, well I don't know if I can trust that website in the first place! (that's the reason why I am here and not on that website I am really finding it hard to decide on which doctor...
