I just got my acl reconstructed, and I've been using about 4-6 extra strength tylenol a day to kill the pain. Is this fine to do during the distraction period of surgery?

Yeah, I second this. I had an ACL reconstruction four weeks ago, and while the opioids they described me were okay, Tylenol was just amazing. The pain fell from an 8 to a 0-1 almost immediately.

Just aspirin to avoid blood clots.

Quote from: scandinavian15 on March 11, 2022, 04:41:22 PMOh ok. I was wondering if the chances to have bloodclots after ACL are as high as limb lengthening surgery....

It could be, but I'm young, healthy, and highly athletic, so I don't think it's as much of an issue for me.
