It will look fair. I would do precice femur 5cm and then come back next year and do 5cm LON tibia.

Femurs have much bigger muscles around them, regardless of how big are your calves.

For 5cm, external tibias are the only way to go for many many reasons.
Also, 5cm on femurs won't look aesthetically good in a short man compared to 5cm on tibias.

if you are worried about calves just wear compression stockings for 2 years that will prevent them from thickening
