So I did a measurement and it turns out I have about a 2 inch length discrepancy, and it's possibly both my right femur and tibia that are longer than left (appears to be the case), I am making correction a priority over LL as I also have scoliosis, and the length discrepancy tilts my pelvis which probably is the root cause of it. I am also thinking that correcting it may increase my height a bit, and of course anything I can do to fix my scoliosis, cause the more my spine curves, the more height I will lose.

Anyway, I am wondering therefore if anyone knows what insurances cover length discrepancy correction? I called Paley Institute, since they're my first choice for surgery but got a voicemail. So thought I'd ask here in the mean time...

If you are american, search on google "ASAMI NORTH AMERICA". It is the prime assossiation of all limb lengthening docs world wide and in the states. Search for a doc in your state and contact him. There are a lot of capable docs

Yes! I am American! Thank you! But since this is technically an LL procedure, wouldn't it still be best to go with one of the docs like Paley or Rozbruch?

there are many good docs in the US who only do non cosmetic LL. Like Herzenberg for example which is at the same level as Paley and Rozbruch but again, he only does non cosmetic LL.

Ah, okay, I see. Do you happen to know what insurance plans cover it?

I am not an american so I don't know. But in my country insurance does cover it in cases where it is required. You should get in touch with one of the docs there (preferibly not CLL ones) to know exactly what insurance covers and not
