Internals with Dr. Monegal. Looking for shared accommodations Oct, Sept, 2015

Hi All!

After many years of reading, planning, and dreaming, I've finally decided that life is too short to have regrets. I'm booked to do my first set of internals with Dr. Monegal on August 25, 2015 and am planning to stay in Barcelona for the months of October and September during post-op.

Dr. Monegal has been kind of enough to recommend accommodations. This is one possibility:

The prices I was given are: "Individual apartment 1260 Eur/month
Double apartment shared: From 1460 to 1860 (depends on the size/heigtht/side of the building (730-930 each)"

My second operation is planned for February, 2016, so I am also looking to share accommodations sometime mid-February to mid-April, 2016.

I will have a consultation in july\august, I may do the surgery one or two months later but I'd like to see the facilities and think about it before I say anything for sure. I'll pm you If I decide to do the surgery within this timeframe!

Great! I haven't seen the facilities myself so it would be good to hear your impressions as well. There's so little info on MIC Sant Jordi online it would really be helpful to get some first-hand data. Good luck with your consultation.

You have made a great choice. Dr.Monegal is a great person and a great doctor. I think his techniques are great. I would love to get info about the whole experience since I will be doing a surgery for my son in 2 -3 years. Keep us posted.

It seems like You want to post negative comments in All the threads in which I appear and this sounds familiar to me. Probably You are one of those users that were banned for such reasons hidden behind Another nickname.

As far as I can tell You all my patients are happy and grateful to me. It takes me a lot of time to answer all their emails, take care of them and Even posting here. And I do all this absolutely for free.

When patients come for a consultation, they have to Pay a fee of 100-120€ at the Clinic that will be discounted in case they finally undergo surgery with me. I have never taken a single € from anyone.

So here comes the challlenge, You can send whatever here, but please send me an email with your complaints...i am pretty sure I won t get that email.

In my country when someone says or publishes something false about someone without proof, It is considered a crime and is heavily punished bY Law. Posting here whatever should Also be punnished and I beg the moderators of the SiTe to clarify your arguments.

Sure. I think I will start a diary if there's enough interest from people?... it will also help to document my journey I suppose... I don't know too much now, but any questions so far feel free to ask me!

Oh well, that's ok. But If you have any real experiences I welcome you to write about it. 
Why don't you state the facts of the situation in a well thought out post and let people decide for themselves?

Otherwise, writing a few sentences here and there just makes you look like a troll, don't you think?
