Hi All!

After many years of reading, planning, and dreaming, I've finally decided that life is too short to have regrets. I'm booked to do my first set of internals with Dr. Monegal on August 25, 2015 and am planning to stay in Barcelona for the months of October and September during post-op.

Dr. Monegal has been kind of enough to recommend accommodations. This is one possibility:
http://www.micsantjordi.org/
The prices I was given are: "Individual apartment 1260 Eur/month
Double apartment shared: From 1460 to 1860 (depends on the size/heigtht/side of the building (730-930 each)"

My second operation is planned for February, 2016, so I am also looking to share accommodations sometime mid-February to mid-April, 2016.

Any questions please feel free to ask me!

Great! I haven't seen the facilities myself so it would be good to hear your impressions as well. There's so little info on MIC Sant Jordi online it would really be helpful to get some first-hand data. Good luck with your consultation.

Hi Suzannaxyz,

Sure. I think I will start a diary if there's enough interest from people?... it will also help to document my journey I suppose... I don't know too much now, but any questions so far feel free to ask me!

Dude.... way to hijack my thread!  Internals with Dr. Monegal. Looking for shared accommodations Oct, Sept, 2015

Oh well, that's ok. But If you have any real experiences I welcome you to write about it.
Why don't you state the facts of the situation in a well thought out post and let people decide for themselves?

Otherwise, writing a few sentences here and there just makes you look like a troll, don't you think?

Hi Alittletooshort,

I just started a new diary in the "patient experiences" section. I'll try to do my best and document anything that can help.

Please feel free to pm for anything, consider me an open resource. I'm still quite lost and clueless myself, but whatever I know I'm quite willing to share.
