Anyone gone through with this and still having pain way down the line or is it full recovery?  Also anyone actually regret doing this or is it all a sense of relief from their height neurosis after they are done?

Some tendonitis in my patellar ligaments because they didn't seem to appreciate being sliced open, but I almost wouldn't call that pain, more like tenderness or sensitivity I guess.  Other than that it seems like a full recovery.

At first I didn't regret it at all; I thought it was the best decision of my life.  But I seem to care less and less what others think of me as time passes, so a sense of regret has started to creep into my mind a little bit.  I'm not really sure anymore if it's worth the tendonitis and the risk of possible new problems emerging later on.  Ideally a person should just find a way to be happy the way they are and be less superficial.

Do you think you would still suffer from height dysphoria if you never got surgery? Also, you did 8cm LON tibias with what seems to me like a less known doctor. Do you think femur STRYDE would be much safer?

I might, but I see that other things matter a lot in life too, and that height matters less and less as one gets older.

Yeah, since a femur nail doesn't go in through an actual tendon.  I don't think it was a lack of skill by the surgeon since it's a standard way of doing it, and most people there didn't experience the level of inflammation I did even at the hospital.  My body has a pretty strong inflammatory reaction to everything.

This is slightly off topic, but its about lenghtening. So basically i have been thinking trough last 3 years or so, why do i want arm lenghtening. More i think it trough more i became sure about it being about being able to do things pain free. Its propably true that i look better also, but it does not help. My childs will have my genetic so i have given up on this matter.

I have had pain in my back from childhood, i just cant keep my back straight because of my reach and thats why there is pain. Its close call with 2-3cm id propably survive painless, but in my case i just get pain.

So i have saved my money january 2020 and i am able to take the risk of getting less panfullife. I can tell that my uncle has like 2-3cm longer arms. Those are short. He has said he usually barely keeps back straight. In my case he said i should get to doctors when i was 10. He knew i was in pain every day.
